A bout the Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality food services to our residents while providing kitchen and food preparation support to our Chef. This role is essential in ensuring nutritious, well-presented meals that meet the diverse needs of Residents in our care.

Responsibilities

  • ● Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team
  • ● Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents
  • ● Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control
  • ● Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required
  • ● Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards

Requirements

  • ● To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • ● Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
  • ● A minimum of one year's experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred)
  • ● Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable)
  • ● Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • ● About this location: Rosebrook is a beautiful 91 bed residential aged care facility is located at the base of Arthurs Seat in the heart of the Mornington Peninsula. Located just 30 Mins from Frankston and 40 mins from Cranbourne. Rosebrook is an easy drive down the Mornington
