About the Job

Our Personal Care Workers provide assistance to our Home Care clients, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their health, happiness, independence, interests and choices. In this role you'll be providing in-home care to clients across the Yarra Ranges Shire & City of Maroondah Council. A new opportunity is now available to join Bolton Clarke, Home & Community Support team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • ● Personal care including personal hygiene, grooming and showering.
  • ● Assistance to continue to live well and positively, such as transport to appointments, help at home, domestic assistance (vacuuming, mopping, laundry, changing bed linen, essential meal preparation, grocery shopping assistance).
  • ● Engaging in social activities as required.

Requirements

Certifications

  • ● Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualifications.
  • ● Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
  • ● Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
  • ● Australian drivers licence and your own vehicle.

Experience

  • ● Minimum 6-12 months experience in a similar role (community setting highly desirable).
  • ● Police Check (valid within the last 3 years or willing to obtain).
