About the Job

This role plays a pivotal frontline carer role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfilment through the delivery of person-centred care and support according to needs and preferences of each resident in everyday practice. Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals.

Role & Responsibilities

  • ● Provide care and support aligned with residents preferred daily routines with a strong focus on meal choices and individual nutrition.
  • ● Consideration of allergies and food intolerances.
  • ● Enhancing the overall dining experience.
  • ● Assist residents with meal selection and meal timing preferences.
  • ● Prepare and set up dining areas to meet individual needs and preferences.
  • ● Actively engage with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes.
  • ● Use empathy and kindness to foster a positive dining experience.
  • ● Promote resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect.
