About the Role
As a Personal Care Worker you'll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
Responsibilities
- ● Provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care, assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
- ● Support and care for residents as they age, assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self determination and comfort.
- ● Assist residents with self care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
- ● Ensure an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.
Requirements
- ● Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent).
- ● Experience in Aged Care highly regarded.
- ● Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
- ● Prior to commencement, complete a National Police Check and/or an NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).
