Job Title: R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff Location: Bangalore Employment Type: Regular, full-time, hybrid work arrangement The job Experienced DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer responsible for designing, automating, and supporting scalable cloud and on-premises platforms that enable reliable software delivery. Collaborates with development, product, and architecture teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, monitoring, and operational processes. Drives automation, environment management, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, performance, and developer productivity. Leverages expertise in Azure/AWS, Infrastructure-as-Code, containers, scripting, and DevOps best practices while supporting enterprise-scale applications and services

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development, product management, and architecture teams to enhance developer platforms and support delivery of critical business applications and services.
  • Design, implement, and maintain solutions that improve the availability, performance, reliability, and scalability of systems and applications.
  • Participate in the design, deployment, administration, and support of cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Develop, maintain, and document DevOps processes, standards, and operational procedures to promote engineering best practices.
  • Manage and automate the lifecycle of Development, QA, Staging, and Production environments across cloud and on-premises platforms.
  • Build and maintain infrastructure required for multiple development and testing environments, ensuring consistency, stability, and release readiness.
  • Implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, release, and environment-related issues to minimize delivery disruptions.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and automation capabilities to improve developer productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for cloud infrastructure, application deployment, and operational management.
  • Create monitoring, logging, tracing, deployment, and self-healing solutions to improve system reliability and reduce manual operational effort.
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability and service availability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the adoption of DevOps best practices across the engineering organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • + years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of software development, systems administration, and operational support practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with developers, architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience driving automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment, ownership mindset, and ability to prioritize and escalate issues when appropriate.

  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git, and software version control systems.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms, including infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with configuration management and desired state technologies such as PowerShell DSC or equivalent.
  • Understanding of security, identity management, and access control using Azure AD, AWS IAM, Active Directory, and related technologies.
