About the Role
As a Roads Drafter, you will bring to life the detailed design outputs that form the foundation of Aurecon's award-winning transport projects. You'll support engineers and designers in preparing accurate plans, sections, and construction documentation for road and civil infrastructure projects. You'll be part of a collaborative and multidisciplinary team working on some of Australia's most significant transport infrastructure projects, reimagining how roads can shape a more sustainable and connected world.
Responsibilities
- ● Prepare and update technical drawings and documentation in accordance with project standards.
- ● Support the design team by managing drawing revisions, document control and ensuring quality control.
- ● Produce 2D and 3D documentation using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- ● Assist with the digital setup of projects and contribute to efficient documentation workflows.
- ● Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure accuracy and integration of design information.
Requirements
- ● At least 7 years relevant experience
- ● Competent in AutoCAD 2D generally
- ● Demonstrated experience in Road Project design drawing production
- ● Demonstrated experience working with a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality drawings
- ● Demonstrated Australian project experience will be viewed favorably
