About the Company
Purpose of the Job To provide high-quality, non-promotional scientific exchange with healthcare professionals and external experts in the Cardiovascular, Renal and Metabolism (CVRM) therapeutic area, supporting the development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy in Korea. The role will also support launch readiness activities from a Medical Affairs perspective, including the identification of relevant scientific and medical needs, stakeholder insights, educational priorities, and evidence gaps, in alignment with the CVRM strategy and applicable compliance requirements. Typical Accountabilities Scientific & Therapeutic Expertise: Deep clinical/scientific knowledge assigned in therapeutic area - CVRM - with ability to interpret and communicate global clinical trial data and evolving evidence. Support CVRM launch readiness activities: Provide field-based medical insights on the disease area, treatment landscape, patient journey, unmet medical needs, and healthcare professional perspectives. Healthcare System Acumen: Strong understanding of local care pathways, hospital decision-making, reimbursement/access landscape, and patient journey within the assigned territory. Stakeholder Management: Skilled at building credibility with KOLs/KEEs and multidisciplinary HCO stakeholders through high-quality scientific dialogue and collaborative projects. Requirements
- ● Industry Knowledge: Demonstrated familiarity with pharmaceutical industry practices and Medical Affairs functions.
- ● Communication: Fluent English (preferred) and native or near-native Korean; strong stakeholder-facing communication skills.
- ● Compliance: Proven understanding of compliance requirements for interactions with HCPs and for scientific exchange.
- ● Desired Skills or Requirements
- ● Therapeutic Experience: Prior experience in CVRM therapeutic area, particularly the CV area, is preferred.
- ● Evidence Generation: Practical experience supporting investigator-initiated studies, local RWE projects or real-world data analyses.
- ● Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with digital tools for scientific engagement (virtual meetings, webinars) and CRM systems for accurate documentation.
- ● Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive local clinical practice change.
- ● Travel & Flexibility: Willingness to travel within assigned territory and adapt to hybrid working models.
- ● Certifications: Professional certifications (e.g., clinical research, pharmacovigilance) are advantageous but not required.
