Responsibilities

  • ● Arriva Traincare have an exciting opportunity arise for a Heavy Maintenance Team Leader to join the team based in our Bristol depot.

  • ● Contract: Permanent contract; Monday to Friday 07:00am to 15:30pm.
  • ● What will this role of Heavy Maintenance Team Leader entail
  • ● The primary focus of the Team Leader is to manage the depot operations, activities and personnel at the Bristol depot. Duties will include;
  • ● Implementation and maintenance of safety systems, production efficiency and quality output
  • ● Ensuring the compliance of teams working to VMI's, VOI's and ATC work instructions
  • ● Liaising with Project Engineers to ensure efficient work programmes are implemented
  • ● Work with the training department in the development of competence assessments for the team
  • ● Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • ● Implementation of customer requirements
  • ● What will I need to be considered for this Heavy Maintenance Team Leader role
  • ● Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering - Rail Traction & Rolling Stock preferred
  • ● Understanding of rail vehicle maintenance
  • ● Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • ● Understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering
  • ● People management training
