As a Sous Chef at The Terraces, Paddington, you'll play an integral role in creating high-quality meals and dining experiences for residents, guests, and community members. With a focus on food safety, quality, and service excellence, you'll plan menus, coordinate café operations, and lead by example in a supportive and respectful environment. Your opportunity In this role, you'll take ownership of daily cafe operations, from food preparation to service delivery, ensuring residents and visitors enjoy a warm, welcoming and memorable experience. Requirements

  • You're a passionate and experienced chef with a flair for customer service and teamwork. You thrive in a hospitality environment where quality, safety, and client satisfaction are paramount.
  • What's required:
  • Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum four years' experience in the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
  • Excellent communication and literacy skills
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
  • A collaborative and positive approach to leading and supporting others
