Your Opportunity This is a casual opportunity based at Castle Hill Village, working Monday to Friday, to support planned leave coverage and increased demand during the Christmas period . As a Cafe Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the café, preparing high-quality meals, supporting café functions and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Working closely with the Food and Beverage Manager, you will help create menus, maintain food quality standards and deliver a positive dining experience for customers and residents.
Requirements
- ● You are a passionate and customer-focused Chef who enjoys creating quality food and delivering memorable dining experiences. What's Required
- ● Commercial Cookery Certificate or equivalent qualification
- ● years' experience within hospitality, catering or food service environments
- ● years' of e xperience in food preparation, kitchen operations and menu planning skills
- ● Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certification.
- ● Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements
- ● Strong English literacy both spoken and written What's Preferred
- ● RSA, willingness to obtain
- ● Microsoft Office skills and general computer literacy
- ● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmen t
