Your opportunity As a Carer at Anglicare Sydney's Carlingford House you will provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports our residents to live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, attending to residents' physical and emotional wellbeing. You will ensure the physical comfort and emotional health of our residents are met and help enhance their independence and quality of life. With kindness and understanding, you will: Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding Support residents with mobility, transfers and other physical assistance Provide companionship and emotional support Observe, monitor and accurately document residents' care and progress Follow individual care plans and respond to residents' needs and preferences

Requirements

  • ● You are a kind-hearted, patient and respectful person who is passionate about enhancing the lives of older people. You share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, and bring them to everything you do.
  • ● What's required:
  • ● A Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care or an equivalent qualification
  • ● Minimum six months' experience providing personal care in aged care or a similar healthcare environment
  • ● Current NDIS workers screening check clearance.
  • ● Australian working rights appropriate to the position
  • ● Availability to work minimum three casual shifts per week.
