Job Title Senior Manager, Hardware Deployment Summary Lead global hardware deployment initiatives across the Amadeus AirOps portfolio, powering Self Service, Seamless Journey, and Border Management solutions worldwide. Build and inspire a high performing deployment team to deliver projects on time, drive customer satisfaction, and secure revenue outcomes. Own the end to end deployment strategy, including stakeholder alignment, resource planning, risk management, and governance across a complex global landscape. Champion quality, innovation, and continuous improvement while acting as a trusted hardware deployment expert across AirOps.

Responsibilities

  • ● Lead and develop a high-performing global hardware deployment team.
  • ● Deliver complex deployment projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • ● Manage deployment planning, prioritization, and resource allocation across the portfolio.
  • ● Identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and operational risks.
  • ● Provide regular status updates and performance reporting to stakeholders.
  • ● Support cutover planning, testing, and production deployments.
  • ● Own deployment cost estimates and resource forecasts.
  • ● Act as the technical expert for hardware deployment solutions and airport systems.
  • ● Drive resolution of complex technical and operational challenges.
  • ● Conduct feasibility assessments and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • ● Provide customer and on-site support during critical deployment phases.
  • ● Ensure compliance with health, safety, and deployment standards.
  • ● Partner with customers to define requirements and implementation plans.
  • ● Collaborate with Product, R&D, and operational teams to improve delivery outcomes.
  • ● Drive continuous improvement, scalability, and standardization of deployment processes.
  • ● Build strong stakeholder relationships and mentor teams across the organization.
  • ● About the ideal candidate:
  • ● University degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (or equivalent experience);
  • ● Accredited in Project Management methodologies and Health & Safety;
  • ● + years of experience in the Air Transport Industry;
