About the Company

Responsibilities

• ● Prepare high-quality, detailed designs, drawings, and cost estimates for civil engineering projects (earthwork, roadworks, stormwater drainage, traffic management, water/sewage reticulation, etc.), adhering to relevant standards and the quality manual.
• ● Provide expert advice to clients on development requirements, ensuring compliance with legislation and conditions.
• ● Investigate engineering problems and develop effective solutions and alternatives.
• ● Ensure all designs meet prescribed standards, conditions, and quality assurance procedures within allocated timeframes and budgets.
• ● Continuously improving internal design systems and processes.
• ● Successfully prioritise and manage workload to meet project deadlines.
• ● Collaborate effectively with engineering, drafting, and detailing personnel from project initiation to construction completion.
• ● Coordinate other essential services (e.g. electrical, telecommunications) as required.
• ● Plan and implement design aspects of projects.
• ● Examine documents and drawings for completeness and accuracy before client submission.
• ● Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• ● Participate in discussions on work system improvements, including leveraging technology for information sharing, management, and quality control.
• ● Actively engage in reviewing work standards and monitoring processes, initiating recommendations for improvement.
• ● Assist clients to identify sustainable options and implications.
• ● Bring ideas forward on how we can improve the way we deliver our partner's experience.

Requirements

• ● 7 years of experience in design and documentation of civil engineering projects.
• ● Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, 12D, Civil 3D, and Australian Standards.
• ● Advanced Diploma of Engineering, Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology, or equivalent relevant experience.
