Responsibilities
- ● Own projects through to delivery, working closely with the DevSecOps Lead on scope and approach
- ● Use agents heavily in your own work, and help the rest of engineering do the same by building the tooling, guardrails and patterns
- ● Wrangle Lambda functions, write Terraform, and help design and build infrastructure for major new service capabilities
Requirements
- ● At least 3 years building and running secure, highly available web applications and integration services in AWS
- ● Hands on experience with containerised services in AWS ECS, covering setup, security, management and monitoring
- ● Solid working knowledge of Terraform
- ● A good grasp of AWS networking fundamentals
- ● Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar
- ● Confident scripting in at least one of Python, TypeScript or Bash
- ● Experience with observability and monitoring platforms
- ● Comfort working in Linux environments day to day
- ● Real experience using coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex on production work
- ● AWS certifications highly regarded, for example DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect
- ● Experience with spec driven development
- ● Experience building MCP servers or other agent tooling
- ● Experience with autonomous sandboxed coding agents
- ● Experience with Cloudflare
- ● Experience with Kubernetes
- ● An interest in platform engineering and developer experience
