Responsibilities

  • ● Own projects through to delivery, working closely with the DevSecOps Lead on scope and approach
  • ● Use agents heavily in your own work, and help the rest of engineering do the same by building the tooling, guardrails and patterns
  • ● Wrangle Lambda functions, write Terraform, and help design and build infrastructure for major new service capabilities

Requirements

  • ● At least 3 years building and running secure, highly available web applications and integration services in AWS
  • ● Hands on experience with containerised services in AWS ECS, covering setup, security, management and monitoring
  • ● Solid working knowledge of Terraform
  • ● A good grasp of AWS networking fundamentals
  • ● Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar
  • ● Confident scripting in at least one of Python, TypeScript or Bash
  • ● Experience with observability and monitoring platforms
  • ● Comfort working in Linux environments day to day
  • ● Real experience using coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex on production work
  • ● AWS certifications highly regarded, for example DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect
  • ● Experience with spec driven development
  • ● Experience building MCP servers or other agent tooling
  • ● Experience with autonomous sandboxed coding agents
  • ● Experience with Cloudflare
  • ● Experience with Kubernetes
  • ● An interest in platform engineering and developer experience
