Role & Responsibilities

  • ● Lead Information Security function within UAE operations with manager-level responsibilities.
  • ● Develop and implement information security policies in line with NESA requirements.
  • ● Manage Information Security Governance and GRC activities including policies, standards, risk assessments, risk registers, and risk acceptance/exceptions.
  • ● Implement and assess UAE IA/NESA controls and ensure policy/control alignment.
  • ● Manage PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT compliance and regulatory/security assessments.
  • ● Lead audit and regulatory findings remediation through to validated closure.
  • ● Act as Information Security lead for major technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure and application projects.
  • ● Manage multiple concurrent security and regulatory projects simultaneously.

  • ● Coordinate effectively with IT, Business, Risk, Audit, Compliance, PMO and external parties.
  • ● Communicate information security strategy and findings to senior non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

  • ● Bachelor's degree.
  • ● Professional/Technical qualification or diploma in Information Security.

Certifications

  • ● CISM, CRISC, CISA, or CISSP certification (preferred; relevant professional certification(s) preferably in one or more of these areas).

Experience

  • ● 10 to 12 years of experience in Information/Cyber Security or related industry.
  • ● Strong Information Security experience within the banking/financial sector.
  • ● Hands-on experience with UAE IA/NESA including implementation, assessments and policy/control alignment.
  • ● Experience managing PCI DSS, SWIFT CSP, VAPT and regulatory/security assessments.
  • ● Proven experience managing audit/regulatory findings through remediation and validated closure.
  • ● Experience leading information security for major technology, digital, cloud, infrastructure and application projects.

Skills

  • ● In-depth knowledge and understanding of information security and technology infrastructure.
  • ● In-depth experience implementing NESA requirements.
  • ● Strong Information Security Governance and GRC experience.
  • ● Ability to manage multiple concurrent security/regulatory projects and prioritize demands.
  • ● Creative thinking with ability to consider new ways of solving problems.
  • ● Great communication skills with ability to communicate with senior non-technical users without technical language.
  • ● Ability to adapt to a fast-moving IT landscape and keep pace with latest security technologies.
