Responsibilities

  • ● Prepare high-volume, nutritious meals for mining village residents in busy kitchen operations.
  • ● Work 14 days on 7 days off on a 2:1 BIBO roster.
  • ● Work 11-hour shifts in a physically active role.

Requirements

  • ● Experience in bulk catering or high-volume kitchens is required.
  • ● Ability to travel safely to and from work is required.
  • ● FIFO or remote site experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • ● Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery is required.
  • ● Physically fit and able to work long shifts, up to 11 hours, is required.
  • ● Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions is required.
  • ● Must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening.
  • ● Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential.
  • ● A National Police Check, dated within the last 6 months, is required.
