About the Job
It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. We are looking for just that person to join the Silverchain team in the Springwood area.
Role & Responsibilities
- ● Provide our aged care clients with home help services, such as general housekeeping and making beds
- ● Clean, mop and vacuum floors
- ● Wash, fold and iron laundry
- ● Prepare meals and go grocery shopping
- ● Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- ● Help the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
Requirements
Certifications
- ● Have a valid Australian Driver's Licence
Skills
- ● Have your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- ● Have an interest in community care or aged care, with experience preferred but not essential
