About the Role

In the role of Home Care Worker, you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services.

Responsibilities

  • ● General housekeeping and making beds
  • ● Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • ● Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • ● Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • ● Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
  • ● Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things

Requirements

  • ● Enjoy having variety in their day
  • ● Are passionate about providing an excellent service
  • ● Can build positive relationships with clients and their families
  • ● Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer
  • ● Don't sweat the small stuff; able to handle client bad days or delays without taking it personally
  • ● Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help
  • ● An Open class Australian Driver's Licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • ● An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
