About the Role
It takes a special person to be a Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as general housekeeping and making beds
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as washing, folding and ironing laundry
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as meal preparation and grocery shopping
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as assisting clients to take their medications
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as assisting with mobility and therapy goals
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as providing social and emotional support
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
- ● You will be providing our aged care clients with personal care services such as helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
Requirements
- ● You will need a valid Australian Driver's Licence
- ● You will need your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- ● You will need a Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support
- ● You must complete a National Police check prior to commencement
- ● You must complete a Work Rights check prior to commencement
- ● You must confirm your COVID-19 vaccination status prior to commencement
