About the Role
It takes a special person to be a Home Care Worker and help the older members of our community to maintain their home and enhance their wellbeing. The role In the role of Home Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services.
Responsibilities
- ● Provide general housekeeping and make beds
- ● Clean, mop and vacuum floors
- ● Wash, fold and iron laundry
- ● Prepare meals and go grocery shopping
- ● Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- ● Help the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
Requirements
- ● Enjoy having variety in their day
- ● Are passionate about providing an excellent service
- ● Can build positive relationships with clients and their families
- ● Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer
- ● Can work independently and find solutions to everyday problems
- ● Have a valid Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- ● Have an interest in community care or aged care with 3 - 6 months previous experience in a similar role
