Responsibilities

  • ● Support the day-to-day administration and processing of all new and existing mortgage applications
  • ● Process Decision in Principle (DIP) enquiries with full knowledge of TML Credit Policies
  • ● Support Underwriters to progress applications to Completion
  • ● Utilise the Mortgage Application System to ensure all mortgage applications are processed in line with the company's service standards
  • ● Liaise directly with intermediaries, solicitors and valuers on the application ensuring information requested is received and processed accurately, as well as providing an excellent level of service to the third parties
  • ● Consider and apply the principle of Treating Customer Fairly (TCF) during the process
  • ● Successfully assess and where appropriate approve loan applications in line with prevailing credit policy
  • ● Meet service level timelines for each activity
  • ● Create and maintain professional and open relationships with intermediaries
  • ● Identify incomplete or contradictory information received and successfully resolve risk and/or issue
  • ● Actively participate in and contribute to departmental meetings including making suggestions to improve processes or amend policy
  • ● Demonstrate a full understanding of regulation as it affects mortgages
  • ● Continued adherence to the company's training and monitoring programme which includes Anti Money Laundering/Financial Crime, Treating Customers Fairly, Anti Bribery and Corruption

Requirements

  • ● Administration experience, preferably in a mortgage environment
  • ● Financial Services experience, preferably in a mortgage environment
  • ● Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • ● Demonstrate the ability to learn new skills
  • ● Technology skills
