Responsibilities

  • ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong foundational knowledge of Python programming. Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts. Knowledge of or exposure to Databricks and modern data engineering concepts. Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn new technologies and develop a career in data engineering. Desirable Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Understanding of data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts. Knowledge of data modelling and database design principles. Familiarity with version control tools such as Git. Exposure to Apache Spark, Snowflake, Power BI, or other modern data and analytics tools. Experience gained through internships, university projects, hackathons, or personal technical projects. Basic understanding of Agile delivery methodologies. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and information security principles.
