Responsibilities

  • ● Design and lead the end-to-end setup of a cloud-based data platform architecture on AWS, integrating multiple tools and services.
  • ● Deploy and configure Talend Big Data Management for scalable data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
  • ● Deploy and configure Talend Data Catalog for enterprise data governance and metadata management.
  • ● Deploy and configure Denodo for data virtualization.
  • ● Deploy and configure RStudio Workbench and Posit Package Manager to support secure, collaborative data science workflows.
  • ● Deploy and configure Tyk API Gateway and AWS API Gateway for a robust data API layer to ensure secure and scalable data access.
  • ● Deploy and configure CKAN for data publishing and discovery.
  • ● Deploy and configure Keycloak for identity and access management, providing SSO, RBAC, and secure authentication across platform components.
  • ● Utilize AWS services, including S3, Redshift, and Sagemaker, to support the storage, transformation, and querying of data.
  • ● Define and document platform architecture, integration patterns, and operational procedures.
  • ● Ensure security, compliance, and scalability across all components of the platform.
  • ● Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, data engineering, and business teams to align platform capabilities with organizational needs.
  • ● Possess good communications skills to understand customers' core business objectives and build end-to-end data centric solutions to address them.
  • ● Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to support the role.

Requirements

  • ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • ● 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or solution architecture roles.
  • ● Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with Talend Big Data Management.
  • ● Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with Talend Data Catalog.
  • ● Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with RStudio Workbench & Posit Package Manager.
  • ● Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with Denodo.
  • ● Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with Keycloak.
  • ● Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with CKAN.
  • ● Proven experience designing and deploying solutions with Tyk and AWS API Gateway.
  • ● Proven experience with AWS services, especially S3, Glue, and Redshift.
  • ● Proven experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • ● Strong understanding of big data ecosystem and modern data lake/data warehouse architectures.
  • ● Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ● Nice to have: Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • ● Nice to have: Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
