About the Job
Great opportunity for someone who enjoys problem solving and working outdoors NRMA Batemans Bay Beach Resort is seeking a casual Grounds & Maintenance Attendant to join our team. Bring your positive attitude and strong work ethic to our hardworking Grounds & Maintenance team. Your practical skills, eye for detail, and problem solving abilities will help keep our park, cabins and grounds looking their best.
Role & Responsibilities
- ● Ensure premium presentation and maintenance of our grounds.
- ● Provide incidental customer service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our caravan and camping sites, cabins, amenities and other facilities.
- ● Service the pool, repairs and maintenance as required.
- ● Assist with gardening projects, basic mechanical repairs and painting.
- ● Liaise with other departments to ensure the efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
Requirements
Education
- ● Trade qualification would be a bonus but not necessary - we are looking for a genuine all-rounder.
- ● Previous experience with ride on & push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping and weed control would be ideal.
- ● Be hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic and possess a high level of physical fitness.
Experience
- ● Experience in grounds and basic maintenance work.
Skills
- ● Knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
- ● Ability to work unsupervised with a 'hands on' work history.
Preferred (nice to have)
- ● Trade qualification.
