About the Role

We're hiring multiple casual team members to join us as we prepare for the busy summer season. To make the most of the season, you'll ideally commit for at least six months, including the Christmas and New Year period.

Responsibilities

  • ● Undertake cooking, baking, pastry cooking or butchering duties, as required to a consistently high standard.
  • ● Assist with maintaining the general cleanliness of the kitchen area and equipment.
  • ● Assist with the training of Kitchen Attendant staff
  • ● Produce high-quality food, uphold food safety and presentation standards, and contribute to the smooth operation of a busy kitchen.
  • ● Confidently multitask, work efficiently as part of a team and maintain high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • ● Formal qualifications in commercial cookery.
  • ● DoFoodSafely certificate of completion
  • ● Demonstrated knowledge and abilities in kitchen operations.
  • ● A passion for your trade and for creating and presenting contemporary dishes using local produce.
  • ● Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • ● The ability to work productively in a fast-paced, buzzing work environment, dealing with a high volume of covers in a short period of time.
  • ● Flexible attitude to work hours over a 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
