As Assistant Manager, you'll be the operational backbone of the resort, bringing structure, consistency and calm leadership to a busy, multi-department environment. You'll be right in the middle of the action, keeping everything moving, with weekend work expected and flexible working patterns. Accommodation is available if required, but living onsite is not essential. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you can build your operational leadership capability at scale.

  • ● Provide visible, hands-on leadership, supporting teams and resolving day-to-day operational challenges.
  • ● Be the first point of support for team queries, roster challenges, guest concerns and inter-department issues.
  • ● Support department leaders to stay focused, accountable and aligned to business priorities and standards.
  • ● Assist with roster review, workforce planning and labour decisions to match demand.
  • ● Oversee key banking, administrative and compliance processes with accuracy and consistency.
  • ● Support safety and compliance activities, including incidents, hazard reporting and operational checks.
  • ● Assist with recruitment, onboarding and team development.
  • ● Step in to support or lead operations as needed during peak periods and busy trading times.

Requirements

  • ● Experience in a holiday park, resort, hotel or high-volume hospitality environment.
  • ● Valid NSW Working with Childrens Check (Mandatory).
  • ● Background in a supervisory, duty manager, assistant manager or department head role.
  • ● Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, follow up and execute with discipline.
  • ● A calm, practical and solutions-focused approach under pressure.
  • ● Confidence supporting multiple departments and working across all areas of operations.
  • ● A hands-on leadership style, with a visible presence across the resort.
  • ● Experience with rostering, labour awareness and operational planning in a busy environment.
  • ● Strong communication skills and the ability to reinforce standards while building positive team culture.
  • ● Commercial awareness and attention to detail across admin, compliance and financial processes.
  • ● A proactive mindset - you don't wait for things to go wrong, you stay one step ahead.

Benefits

  • ● Flexibility in working patterns.
  • ● Accommodation available if required (not essential to live onsite).
