About the Role

This is a casual Grounds & Maintenance all-rounder role at Blue Dolphin Resort in Yamba, where you'll keep the resort's grounds, facilities, and gardens in excellent condition. The role is varied-from mowing lawns to basic maintenance-and offers a fun, supportive team environment in a holiday-like setting.

Responsibilities

  • ● Keep the resort grounds immaculate by mowing, weeding, pruning, and landscaping.
  • ● Lend a hand with minor repairs across cabins, campsites, amenities, and facilities.
  • ● Dive into pool care, including cleaning, dosing, water balancing, and basic repairs.
  • ● Maintain and clean public areas to ensure everything is guest-ready.
  • ● Pitch in on grounds-based projects, basic mechanical repairs, and painting.
  • ● Deliver friendly, incidental customer service to guests.

Requirements

  • ● Experience in grounds and basic maintenance work (trade qualification not required).
  • ● Skills with ride-on and push mowers, pruning, hedging, landscaping, and weed control.
  • ● Knowledge of safe working procedures and basic hygiene requirements.
  • ● Ability to work unsupervised and a hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • ● Hardworking, energetic, and enthusiastic, with a good level of fitness (physically demanding role).
