About the Role

The Senior Software Engineer will join a Scrum team to analyse requirements, design and implement high quality code, and deliver tasks on schedule while adhering to defined standards. The role requires close collaboration with the team, thorough understanding of use cases, and continuous learning of new technologies to support Eurofins' global IT initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • ● Analyse requirements and think through all possible use cases before coding.
  • ● Develop end to end solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • ● Implement server side components with ASP.NET MVC Web API and Entity Framework.
  • ● Build and maintain web applications, preferably using Angular 14+.
  • ● Design and work with n tier architectures.
  • ● Write and maintain unit tests using XUnit, NUnit or MS Unit Test frameworks.
  • ● Collaborate with the Scrum team to deliver quality code within defined timelines.
  • ● Apply software implementation best practices and object oriented design principles.
  • ● Participate in Agile development processes.

Requirements

  • ● At least 4 years of experience developing end to end solutions with the Microsoft stack.
  • ● Strong working knowledge of server side development using ASP.NET MVC Web API and Entity Framework.
  • ● Experience with web applications, preferably Angular 14+.
  • ● Good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL.
  • ● Strong proficiency in .NET and C application development.
  • ● Experience designing and working with n tier architectures.
  • ● Hands on experience with unit testing frameworks such as XUnit, NUnit or MS Unit Test.
  • ● Working knowledge of TypeScript, Angular 5+, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies.
  • ● Experience on at least one Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) project.
  • ● Good understanding of UML, object oriented programming and design principles.
  • ● Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
  • ● Experience working in an Agile methodology.
