Responsibilities

  • ● Deliver and maintain high quality software by oneself and together, within a team, including analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, operation, and support.
  • ● Promote high quality engineering and support of the target applications.
  • ● Embrace Agile practices and adhere to Eurofins guidelines in all phases of the SDLC.
  • ● Collaborate with users, functional analysts, application architects, deployment team, and other stakeholders to design fit for purpose software and features.
  • ● Develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with internal customers.
  • ● Create and contribute to a good team spirit.
  • ● Author, review, and improve technical and functional specifications, including tests description and acceptance criteria.
  • ● Author and contribute, timely and at the appropriate quality level, development, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, tests and documentation of the company's application suite.
  • ● Escalate and follow up on any issues that might be a blocker or deviation from SPOs, guidelines, etc.

Requirements

  • ● At least 2-3 years as a software developer, sustenance engineer, or system engineer.
  • ● Experienced in .Net based full stack development.
  • ● Experience in WPF is a plus.
  • ● Strong technical and analytical skills, including thorough understanding of application architecture.
  • ● Experienced in working on workflow/support ticket management systems such as BMC Helix or ServiceNow, or similar tools.
  • ● Experience collaborating in projects across multiple international geographical locations.
  • ● Work with stakeholders to author, review, and improve technical and functional specifications, including tests description and acceptance criteria.
  • ● Author and contribute development, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, tests, and documentation of the application suite in a timely and high quality manner.
  • ● Use state of art software engineering practices and development frameworks, notably Agile, to ensure superior quality on every delivery.
  • ● Escalate and follow up on issues that may block delivery or deviate from SPOs and guidelines.
  • ● Good experience in C and .Net.
  • ● Hands on experience with SQL Server.
  • ● Strong background in software development and engineering.
  • ● Strong taste of unit testing and peer testing of developed code.
  • ● Understanding of the ITIL process.
  • ● Preferred knowledge of WPF in cloud based development, preferably on MS Azure.
  • ● Knowledge of SOA is desirable.
