About the Role

Epworth is opening an exciting new chapter with the launch of Epworth Healthy Living, an innovative preventative health and longevity service designed to help individuals optimise their health and wellbeing through every stage of life. We are seeking an accomplished healthcare leader to join the Division Executive and lead the establishment, growth and long-term success of this exciting new service, based in Richmond and working across Epworth locations. This is a unique opportunity to shape a start-up healthcare venture within one of Australia's leading not-for-profit healthcare organisations. Combining operational leadership, service development, stakeholder engagement and technology implementation, you will play a pivotal role in translating strategic vision into a high-performing, scalable and client-centred service. Unlike traditional healthcare operations roles, this position is dedicated exclusively to the Healthy Living service and focuses on building and growing a contemporary preventative health model, rather than hospital operations, patient access or bed flow management.

Responsibilities

  • ● Lead the operational establishment and growth of Epworth Healthy Living.
  • ● Deliver strategic and operational plans that drive sustainable growth and service excellence.
  • ● Oversee financial performance, workforce planning, governance and risk management.
  • ● Foster strong partnerships with medical specialists, clinicians, executives and community stakeholders.
  • ● Drive continuous improvement, innovation and service redesign initiatives.
  • ● Promote a culture of accountability, safety, quality and exceptional customer experience.
  • ● Monitor and report on key performance indicators across operational, financial and quality domains.

Requirements

  • ● You are an experienced healthcare leader who thrives in growth and transformation environments.
  • ● You have successfully established, expanded or transformed healthcare services and bring strong operational, commercial and stakeholder management capability.
  • ● You have experience implementing healthcare technology and driving service innovation.
  • ● You are equally comfortable leading day-to-day operations, operational readiness activities and long-term service development initiatives.
  • ● You are a confident and influential relationship builder, who engages effectively with executives, medical specialists, clinicians and external partners to achieve shared outcomes.
  • ● You combine strong commercial acumen with experience in healthcare leadership.
