About the Role

The Hospitality Services Assistant team is looking for flexible, patient centred cleaners and casual patient transport staff at Epworth Geelong. In this role you will pay close attention to detail, respond compassionately to patient needs, and act as a friendly face of Epworth, leaving lasting positive impressions through the quality of your work and interactions.

Responsibilities

  • ● Perform cleaning duties in patient care areas according to organisational standards.
  • ● Provide patient transport services in a safe and courteous manner.
  • ● Interact with patients compassionately and maintain a positive experience.
  • ● Follow infection control protocols while carrying out duties.
  • ● Adhere to manual handling and safe work practices.

Requirements

  • ● Strong customer service experience is advantageous.
  • ● Demonstrated experience working in a busy environment is beneficial.
  • ● Training in manual handling and safe work practices is preferred.
  • ● Commercial cleaning experience is an advantage.
  • ● Working knowledge of infection control is desirable.
