About the Job

Ready to take the next step in your leadership career As an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) at Burson, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day success of our Sunshine branch. Supporting the Store Manager, you'll lead from the front, drive sales performance, champion exceptional customer service, and help create a positive, high-performing team culture. At Burson, you're more than just a number. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative team that values your contribution and provides opportunities for growth and development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • ● Providing expert advice and assistance to trade, workshop, and retail customers on automotive parts and products
  • ● Delivering outstanding customer service while building strong, long-term customer relationships
  • ● Supporting sales growth and branch performance outcomes
  • ● Assisting with inventory management and stock control processes
  • ● Maintaining high store presentation standards and ensuring compliance with company policies and workplace health and safety requirements
  • ● Supporting the Store Manager in the daily operation of the branch
  • ● Leading, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve their best

Requirements

Certifications

  • ● Current full drivers license

Experience

  • ● Ideally experience in the automotive parts sector (or related sectors)

Skills

  • ● An ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment
  • ● The ability to engage with, and motivate team members
  • ● Customer focused with strong time management abilities & attention to detail
  • ● OH & S experience, with sound administrative skills and solid computer literacy
