About the Role

The Assistant Store Manager (2IC) role at Burson involves leading day to day operations, driving sales, and motivating the team at the Brunswick branch. In this hands on position you will support the Store Manager, handle automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers, and ensure high levels of customer service, inventory control, and compliance with store standards and OH&S policies.

Responsibilities

  • ● Handle automotive parts queries from trade and retail/DIY customers.
  • ● Provide a high level of customer service with an emphasis on customer retention and development.
  • ● Assist with inventory control.
  • ● Maintain store standards and adhere to company policies, procedures and OH&S compliance.
  • ● Support the Store Manager.
  • ● Lead and support the store team.

Requirements

  • ● Have the ability to work in a driven and diverse team environment.
  • ● Have ideally experience in the automotive parts sector or related sectors.
  • ● Be able to engage with and motivate team members.
  • ● Be client driven with strong time management abilities and attention to detail.
  • ● Have OH&S experience, sound administrative skills, and solid computer literacy.
  • ● Hold a current full driver's license.
