About the Role

The TDD Finance Delivery Lead is accountable for the leadership, planning, governance, and successful delivery of initiatives across Ampol's Finance platforms. This role connects platform priorities with operational and downstream demand, ensuring visibility of dependencies, risks, and decisions needing to be surfaced to achieve delivery commitments. The Delivery Lead creates clear plans, healthy backlogs, disciplined execution, and transparent reporting while removing impediments and strengthening team ways of working. The position will oversee the delivery lifecycle for Finance applications and platforms, including SAP and other enterprise systems, while driving delivery excellence through modern Agile, DevOps, and project management practices. The role works closely with a broad range of internal stakeholders across finance, corporate stakeholders, technology delivery teams, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • ● Lead end-to-end delivery of Finance and ERP initiatives, with a strong focus on SAP
  • ● Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies across SAP and adjacent finance systems
  • ● Bring a solid understanding of core SAP Finance processes and cross-module integration (Finance, Sales & Distribution, Procure-to-Pay, invoice-to-pay) to inform delivery decisions and risk calls
  • ● Oversee rigorous testing across user, UAT, integration, and post-production phases, and monitor delivery performance
  • ● Build trusted relationships with Finance leaders, business stakeholders, SAP vendors/system integrators, and technology teams, and facilitate alignment across senior and experienced stakeholder groups
  • ● Provide regular reporting and communication on delivery status, risks, financials, and key decisions
  • ● Lead, coach, and develop delivery professionals to build a high-performing, engaged team, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation
  • ● Support operational excellence through effective transition to support, service management, and continuous improvement practices

Requirements

  • ● SAP Expertise, with the credibility to lead a senior, experienced SAP team
  • ● Solid working knowledge of SAP Finance
