About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join us in a part-time chairside role, starting as soon as possible. This role suits someone who works quickly and confidently, enjoys surgical work, and thrives in a busy surgery.

Responsibilities

  • ● Assist our skilled clinician during a variety of dental procedures.
  • ● Clean, sterilize, and organize dental instruments according to established infection control protocols.
  • ● Ensure all sterilization and disinfection processes comply with industry regulations and standards.
  • ● Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
  • ● Provide personalised patient care and support.
  • ● Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • ● Previous experience as a Dental Assistant
  • ● Certificate III in Dental Assisting or higher (highly regarded)
  • ● The ability to work at a fast pace and remain organised
  • ● Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation protocols
  • ● A calm, reassuring manner with nervous patients
  • ● Clear and professional communication with patients and the team
  • ● Confidence using dental practice management software
