Maven Dental Burnside is a welcoming practice located in the heart of Burnside Village Shopping Centre. Known for our warm, personalised approach, we provide general, restorative and implant dentistry to patients across Adelaide's eastern suburbs.

About the Role

This is a predominantly chairside Dental Assistant role, with occasional reception support when required. Reception experience is not essential, as training can be provided. Working closely with our dentists, hygienist, Practice Manager and front office team, you'll help deliver exceptional patient care and support the smooth day to day operation of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • ● Provide chairside assistance and exceptional patient care.
  • ● Prepare treatment rooms and sterilise instruments in line with infection control standards.
  • ● Welcome patients and manage check in and check out processes.
  • ● Schedule appointments and recalls, and manage phone enquiries.
  • ● Process payments, HICAPS claims and health fund enquiries.
  • ● Maintain accurate patient records and billing information.
  • ● Support the smooth day to day operation of the practice.

Requirements

  • ● Previous experience as a Dental Assistant and/or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting (or higher).
  • ● Knowledge of infection control and sterilisation protocols.
  • ● A warm, welcoming manner that puts patients at ease.
  • ● Clear and professional communication with patients and the team.
  • ● A willingness to learn new systems and develop your skills across the practice.
  • ● Working With Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain one.

Nice to Have

  • ● Confidence using dental practice management software (desirable).
  • ● Reception experience is advantageous but not essential.
