About the Role

This is a casual Dental Assistant role at Maven Dental Burwood. You will support clinicians across a range of dental procedures while helping create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with experienced clinicians to provide quality chairside support throughout patient appointments, and play an important role in maintaining high standards of sterilisation, infection control and clinical presentation.

Responsibilities

  • ● Provide efficient and attentive chairside assistance to clinicians.
  • ● Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient appointments.
  • ● Sterilise and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • ● Follow infection control and sterilisation procedures.
  • ● Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic clinical environment.
  • ● Support stock control and ensure clinical supplies are maintained.
  • ● Help patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

Requirements

  • ● Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, with a Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting advantageous.
  • ● Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, with ongoing training and support provided.
  • ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and patient-focused approach.
  • ● Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • ● The ability to multitask and work confidently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • ● Experience using dental software is advantageous.
