About the Role

Looking to get your foot in the door of the dental industry We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. No previous dental experience is required. We're looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working with people and wants to build a career in a supportive practice environment. This is a full-time position across a 9-day fortnight, giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both dental assisting and reception while enjoying a great work-life balance.

Responsibilities

  • ● Assisting our dentists and clinical team during patient appointments
  • ● Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standards
  • ● Sterilisation and maintaining clinical compliance
  • ● Welcoming and supporting patients with a warm and professional approach
  • ● Managing patient appointments and recalls
  • ● Answering phone enquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • ● Processing payments and health fund claims
  • ● Supporting the team with day-to-day practice operations

Requirements

  • ● Is enthusiastic about starting a career in the dental industry

  • ● Has strong communication and customer service skills
  • ● Is eager to learn and develop new skills
  • ● Is organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environment

  • ● Previous customer service, administration, hospitality or healthcare experience but not essential
