Responsibilities

  • ● Assist the MEP Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities from commencement to completion.
  • ● Review and interpret MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, IFC drawings, and technical specifications.
  • ● Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, site engineers, and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • ● Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation requirements.
  • ● Assist in resolving technical and coordination issues related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works.
  • ● Monitor site progress and prepare periodic project progress reports for management review.
  • ● Organize and participate in coordination meetings, technical discussions, and progress review meetings.
  • ● Prepare meeting minutes and ensure timely closure of action items.
  • ● Coordinate material submittals, shop drawing submissions, RFIs, method statements, and approvals.
  • ● Maintain project documentation, records, correspondence, and technical files in an organized manner.
  • ● Follow up with procurement teams regarding material requirements, delivery schedules, and supplier coordination.
  • ● Assist in tracking project costs, variations, and additional work orders.
  • ● Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • ● Liaise with planning engineers regarding project schedules and work progress.
  • ● Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
  • ● Ensure compliance with project safety requirements and company procedures.
  • ● Act as a communication link between site teams, consultants, clients, and management.
  • ● Prepare, review, and modify MEP shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD.
  • ● Coordinate MEP drawings with Architectural, Structural, and Civil drawings to identify and resolve clashes before execution.
  • ● Assist in the preparation and submission of shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation for consultant approval.
  • ● Ensure all MEP drawings are updated in accordance with site conditions, consultant comments, and approved revisions.
  • ● Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to verify drawing accuracy and constructability.
  • ● Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control of all MEP-related drawings and revisions.
  • ● Support BIM/Revit coordination activities where applicable.
  • ● Prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation upon project completion.
