Responsibilities
- ● Review and process payments and invoices, including payroll, reconciliation, etc.
- ● Scrutinize accounts to ensure control checks are in place while processing invoices and reporting, and establish them wherever required.
- ● Assist in balance sheet preparation.
- ● Ensure all purchase and expense bills are properly approved and entered on time.
- ● Monitor and manage scrap and OCR party transactions to ensure timely processing and compliance with internal controls.
- ● Review coverage and raise credit notes in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- ● Conduct periodic reconciliation of accounts, including general ledger, customer, and fabrics.
- ● Prepare other MIS reports as required.
- ● Understand business challenges and their impact on the company's financial position.
- ● Support the senior leadership team with data-driven analysis and act as a sounding board when making commercial decisions and formulating strategy.
- ● Present monthly and quarterly financial reports to the leadership team.
- ● Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
- ● Drive exposure to business intelligence and implement BI tools to automate financial KPI reporting.
- ● Execute cross-border, SEZ, and merchant trade transactions and documentation with a good understanding of RBI and banking regulations and practices.
- ● Manage merchant trade accounts payable and receivables in compliance with trade finance practices and regulations.
- ● Control and settle IDPMS and EDPMS through banks in line with ICEGATE and ECCS portals.
- ● Plan, prepare, and coordinate letters of credit, arrange buyers' credit, and process foreign remittance requests and documentation.
- ● Ensure compliance and documentation in relation to various government incentives.
Requirements
- ● Have a B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, or CA inter degree.
- ● Have 1-6 years of experience.
- ● Have in-depth knowledge of accounts functions.
- ● Have expertise in executing cross-border and SEZ transactions and documentation.
- ● Have expertise in managing merchant trade accounts payable and receivables.
- ● Have a good understanding of RBI and banking regulations and practices.
- ● Have knowledge of custom provisions related to import and export regulations and custom clearance costs and documentation.
- ● Have experience with import and export accounting and MIS in an ERP environment.
- ● Have a fair understanding of withholding tax and GST provisions on cross-border transactions.
- ● Have team management and good interpersonal skills and liaison with banks and cross-functional teams.
