Senior Carpenter

Execute carpentry and joinery works for retail fit-out projects, including shops, boutiques, kiosks, showrooms, and commercial interiors. Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and installation details. Manufacture, assemble, and install custom-made furniture, display units, shelving, counters, cabinets, wall panels, doors, and decorative fixtures. Perform installation of retail display units, cashier counters, reception desks, product displays, and customized joinery elements. Work with materials such as MDF, plywood, solid wood, laminates, veneers, and other approved finishing materials. Ensure accurate measurements, cutting, assembly, alignment, and finishing of all carpentry components. Coordinate with site supervisors, project managers, designers, electricians, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution. Lead and guide junior carpenters and helpers, ensuring work is completed efficiently and according to instructions. Inspect finished work to ensure quality, accuracy, durability, and compliance with project requirements. Identify and resolve carpentry and installation issues on-site and in the workshop. Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition and minimize material wastage. Follow site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Complete assigned tasks within project schedules and report any delays or technical issues to the supervisor.
