Chinese Translator and Interpreter

Accurately translate written documents from a source language to a target language, preserving meaning, tone, and context. Adapt terminology and style to suit the specific audience and purpose of the translated or interpreted content. Conduct thorough research on subject-specific terminology, cultural nuances, and idiomatic expressions. Edit and proofread translated texts to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guides. Fluency in English and Chinese and at least one other language commonly used in the construction industry (e.g., Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu). Proven experience in translation and interpretation, preferably within the construction or engineering sector. Strong understanding of construction terminology and technical language. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Degree or certification in translation, interpretation, linguistics, or related field is preferred.
