Responsibilities
- ● Develop and implement the Project Quality Plan (PQP), QA/QC procedures, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- ● Ø Review project drawings, specifications, method statements, material submittals, and approved samples to ensure compliance with
- ● project requirements.
- ● Ø Monitor all interior fit-out and design-related works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality
- ● standards, and contractual requirements.
- ● Ø Plan and conduct regular site inspections to verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and installation activities.
- ● Ø Coordinate with the Consultant, Main Contractor, Project Manager, Site Team, suppliers, and subcontractors on all quality-related
- ● Ø Review and coordinate Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and ensure timely approvals.
- ● Ø Ensure all materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project specifications, approved samples, and required
- ● Ø Monitor testing and commissioning activities and ensure all test reports and certificates are properly documented.
- ● Ø Identify quality issues and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
- ● Ø Raise NCRs and Site Observation Reports for non-compliant materials, defective works, or poor workmanship.
- ● Ø Review NCRs, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure timely closure of internal and external NCRs.
- ● Ø Conduct internal quality inspections and snagging and coordinate the closure of snags raised by the Consultant, Main Contractor, or
- ● Ø Have the authority to stop or reject work, materials, or installations that do not comply with approved drawings, specifications, or
- ● quality requirements.
- ● Ø Conduct quality audits and monitor subcontractor and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
- ● Ø Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, inspection reports, test reports, approvals, and quality
- ● Ø Participate in progress, technical, coordination, and quality meetings and provide regular updates on quality performance and
- ● outstanding issues.
