Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for all interior fit-out and joinery elements in a project.
  • Ø Coordinate and manage shop drawings, material approvals, and technical submittals.
  • Ø Ensure all joinery and fit-out work are aligned with project specifications, scope of work, drawings, and client expectations.
  • Ø Provide technical support to site teams, production facilities, procurement, and subcontractors.
  • Ø Liaise with consultants, designers, and clients on all technical design issues and queries.
  • Ø Preparation of the Shop Drawings and Materials LOG covering the full scope of works of the project.
  • Ø Review and coordinate all joinery and fit-out shop drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design intent.
  • Ø Prepare and manage technical submittals, including materials, samples, and mock-ups for consultant/client approval.
  • Ø Ensure timely submission and approval of drawings and documents to meet the project schedule.
  • Ø Translate design concepts into practical, manufacturable, and buildable solutions.
  • Ø Coordinate technical interfaces between Interior fit-out, joinery, civil works, MEP, and other trades.
  • Ø Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) to clarify design discrepancies or conflicts in drawings.
  • Ø Attend design coordination meetings, site inspections, and technical reviews with stakeholders.
  • Ø Monitor production progress and resolve technical queries related to materials, construction, and finishes.
  • Ø Coordinate with procurement for material selection, lead times, and availability.
  • Ø Provide on-site technical support during installation of fit-out and joinery works.
  • Ø Verify compliance of on-site execution with approved shop drawings and specifications.
  • Ø Attend inspections and ensure quality control throughout installation phases.
  • Ø Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on quality control and compliance.
  • Ø Ensure all works comply with local regulations, building codes, and project specifications.
