Project Engineer

Responsibilities

• ● Ø Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing interior fit-out works
• ● Ø Review and coordinate IFC drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals
• ● Ø Supervise and monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications
• ● Ø Coordinate architectural, interior, and MEP works to avoid clashes and delays
• ● Ø Ensure quality standards and approved method statements are followed on site
• ● Ø Monitor project progress and assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• ● Ø Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely execution and material delivery
• ● Ø Assist in identifying variations, site issues, and technical problems and report to management
• ● Ø Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements
• ● Ø Participate in inspections, snagging, de-snagging, and handover processes
• ● Ø Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation
• ● Ø Provide technical instructions to site teams within approved project scope
• ● Ø Review and recommend approval or rejection of shop drawings and materials
• ● Ø Stop working temporarily in case of safety risks or major quality non-conformance
• ● Ø Raise RFIs, NCRs, and technical queries as required
• ● Ø Coordinate directly with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on technical matters
• ● Ø Recommend corrective actions and improvements to the Project Manager
