At CI&T, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Automation to join our team in Brazil. You will contribute to an innovative project in a collaborative, innovating, transforming, and multicultural environment. As a Senior QA Automation, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of our software products. Your expertise in automated testing will drive the creation of robust solutions while collaborating with talented cross-functional teams. Your work will ensure that we consistently deliver high-quality applications that meet and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

  • ● Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
  • ● Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • ● Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, Pytest or similar.
  • ● Identify, document, and track defects in a bug-tracking system.
  • ● Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • ● Implement best practices in testing and quality assurance.
  • ● Continuously improve test processes and automation strategies.
  • ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • ● Perform back-end testing to validate API, and server-side components or responses.

Requirements

  • ● Proficiency in testing tools like Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Cypress, or equivalent.
  • ● Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • ● Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
  • ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • ● Fluent English is mandatory.
  • ● Nice to Have:
  • ● Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
  • ● Exposure to API testing and security testing.
  • ● ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
