The candidate is expected to work in investigating the multi-objective performance of coastal protection structures as well as the use of data and imagery to monitor the coastal environment.
Responsibilities
- ● Investigate the multi-objective hydrodynamic performance and wave structure interactions of coastal infrastructure.
- ● Design and conduct physical experiments as well as analytical and numerical modelling.
- ● Conduct field experiments in the coastal environment to collect good quality data.
- ● Develop custom software for data integration and visualization of simulation outputs.
- ● Summarize research findings in high-quality research presentation and reports.
- ● Job Requirements
- ● Applicants should have a PhD in Civil Engineering, Coastal Engineering, or related disciplines.
- ● Strong interest in research work, field surveys, and site supervision.
- ● Strong written and spoken communication.
- ● Open to a fixed-term contract.
