About the Role

We are looking for a detail - oriented and motivated Finance & Accounting (F&A) intern to support the General Ledger team. As an intern you will gain hands on experience on core accounting processes, financial reporting, and month end close activities while working closely with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Support month end and year end closing activities
  • Perform account reconciliations and to clear aged items
  • Assist in balance sheet and P&L analysis Work on cleanup activities
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
  • Support and contribute to maintaining the relevancy of all documentation, maintaining policies & procedures, memorandums, and the narrative.
  • Support in audits, both internal and external, providing supporting documentation/evidence, performing ad-hoc analysis, and providing timely communication.
  • Cultivate relationships cross-functionally including FP&A, AP,AR, Treasury Legal, and Operations to enhance efficiency in collaborating efforts.
  • What You'll Need:
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting (M.Com, MBA Finance etc.)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Proficiency in MS Excel ( Vlookup, pivot tables etc.)
  • Advanced Excel capabilities; ability to construct complex formulas to minimize manual inputs is strongly desired.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with a proactive mindset toward process efficiency and problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects, delivering accurate and timely results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organizational skills, with a proactive mindset
  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
  • Good to Have:
  • Exposure to ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of reconciliation and reporting processes
