Petrol Station Attendant – Job Description<br><br>We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Petrol Station Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate must have previous petrol station experience, excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>* Provide friendly and efficient customer service<br>* Operate the cash register and process cash, card and other payments accurately<br>* Assist customers with fuel purchases and general enquiries<br>* Actively upsell products, promotions, coffee and food items to increase sales<br>* Restock shelves, check product displays and monitor stock levels<br>* Prepare and cook a variety of hot foods, including bacon and different types of meat<br>* Follow food safety and hygiene procedures when handling, preparing and cooking food<br>* Prepare coffee and other food and beverage items where required<br>* Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, kitchen, food preparation areas and customer facilities<br>* Check deliveries and ensure stock is organised and displayed correctly<br>* Follow workplace health and safety, fuel safety and store procedures<br>* Assist with opening and closing duties where required<br>* Report equipment issues, customer concerns and safety hazards to management<br><br>Requirements<br><br>* Previous petrol station experience is essential<br>* Must have access to a reliable car and hold a valid driver’s licence<br>* Must be available to work a rotating roster, including weekdays, weekends and varying shifts as required<br>* Must be comfortable preparing and cooking bacon and a variety of different meats<br>* Must be confident upselling products and promoting in-store specials<br>* Good communication and customer service skills<br>* Reliable, punctual and well-presented<br>* Ability to work independently and as part of a team<br>* Good cash-handling skills and attention to detail<br>* Must be willing to follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures<br><br>Preferred Skills<br><br>* Barista experience is a bonus but not essential<br>* Experience preparing coffee and other hot beverages is advantageous<br><br>Visa and Work Eligibility<br><br>* Applicants with all visa types are welcome to apply, provided they have valid Australian work rights.<br>* Applicants must be able to provide evidence of their right to work in Australia.<br><br>What We Offer<br><br>* Supportive working environment<br>* On-the-job training for site-specific procedures<br>* Opportunity to develop skills within the fuel and convenience retail industry<br><br>How to Apply<br><br>If you have previous petrol station experience, reliable transport and the flexibility to work a rotating roster, we encourage you to apply.<br><br>Please include your relevant experience, availability and current work rights in your application.<br><br>Pay: From $28.00 per hour<br><br>Benefits:<br>* Employee discount<br><br><br><br>Ability to commute/relocate:<br>* Wetherill Park NSW 2164: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)<br><br>Application Question(s):<br>* We have 2 different shifts, 4am - 2pm and 2pm-9pm.
